Shure Manufacturing Corporation

We make your workspace work better

For over 80 years, we’ve been building the workbenches, cabinets, drawers, and tool storage that help U.S. industries get the job done, from automotive, to education, to heavy-duty fleets.

Over 80 years of setting the standard

Shure Manufacturing has been family-owned for three generations, since 1910.

That kind of longevity doesn't happen by cutting corners. It happens by standing by our work.

By building to last, with heavy-gauge instead of the cheapest gauge that'll pass. It happens by caring for team and our community. Here’s what three generations of getting it right will get you.

  • You call, it gets fixed.

The products you buy have a limited lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. We repair or replace products that don’t hold up like they should.

  • Equipment that lasts.

Workbenches, tool storage and cabinetry built in heavy-gauge steel to take on daily use for decades.

  • Made in the USA.

No customs delays, no six-week ocean freight.

From a Texaco station to a family business, built in steel

It all started in 1910. Three generations later, the standard hasn't moved: We build high quality, functional workspaces, forged in steel and made in the USA.

  1. 1910

Richard C. Richardson and a partner opened an architectural sheet metal workshop in St. Louis, Missouri.

  2. 1920

Richard’s son Joseph A. Richardson (Joe) joined the team as a sheet metal craftsman.

  3. 1938

Joe and a friend leased a Texaco service station. His firsthand experience in automotive repair directly shaped his later designs.

  4. 1941

Shure Manufacturing is born. Joe partnered with Samuel J. Shure in St. Louis to start a metal working shop, building airplane parts, fire extinguishers and stove cabinets during WWII.

  5. 1993

Andrew Richardson joins the company fresh out of college, beginning what would become a 30-plus-year path toward leading Shure into its third generation.

  6. Today

Andrew Richardson serves as the third generation of Shure Manufacturing leadership.

Come kick the tires yourself

Some things are even better in person. We show up to the shows that matter to you, year after year. Come see the products, touch the steel and hand us a floor drawing to start a quote.

  • NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association)

    Orlando, FL

NADA is one show we never miss. We've had a booth at NADA for over 50 years, longer than almost anyone on the tradeshow floor. Bring your floor plan, tell us what's not working in your bay and we'll start sketching before the show's even over. Come find us on the main aisle, same as every year.
